The Iron Works started out by manufacturing iron bedsteads in 1997, branching out further due to the huge

    demand for other bespoke products such as gates, railings, security grilles and curtain poles. Many other

    items have been made to order too, Paul's phrase being,,,, 'If you can draw it, I can make it'...

 

    The Iron Works has been - and is still involved with many large companies throughout the United Kingdom and

    parts of the world, exporting tailor made iron beds to China, several hundred railing panels to France, and

    manufacturing large quantities of curtain pole furniture for Laura Ashley UK. Even with this international portfolio

    Paul is proud to be providing a unique local service with customers old and new in Newark and surrounding areas

 

    All estimates are totally free of charge and there is no obligation, pricing is keen and very competitive

    throughout. All materials used are of the highest standard and quality supplied by steel stockholders here in 

    the UK. All other products and components involved in manufacturing are sourced locally.

 

    Many orders are created from just scribbles on customers note pads. No complicated drawings or sketches

    are needed, and if you're not sure what design you have in mind then Paul will design it for you free of charge.

    Home and site visits are also free. All work undertaken is unique to the customer, that means for example

    you can have a pair of gates made to suit the aperture exactly, where other companies only have set sizes.
